My Journey

I’m a proud mum of three and currently based in central Lisbon.
I was born in India and raised in the United States, where I trained as an Occupational Therapist and worked at an acute children’s hospital in Washington, DC. In 2005, I moved to London, where I spent over 17 years working as an NHS Occupational Therapist across neonatal, hospital, and community settings. Our family has recently relocated to Lisbon, where I continue to practise while maintaining strong clinical links with families in London and worldwide.
My passion for infant feeding began while working in Neonatal Intensive Care Units, where I supported premature and medically complex babies through oral motor assessments, positioning, and individualized care planning. Over time, my work expanded to include supporting mothers in breastfeeding their premature babies, advising families on handling, play, and interaction, and offering early, preventive support.
Since qualifying as an internationally accredited Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) four years ago, I have supported many families with healthy, term babies experiencing feeding challenges such as painful feeding, unsettled behaviour, milk supply concerns, bottle refusal, combination feeding, and feeding transitions, including weaning.
I take a holistic, family-centred approach, supporting feeding alongside regulation, sleep, movement, play, and early development. Caring for a baby can feel overwhelming at times, particularly after a challenging start, and it would be a privilege to support you as you build confidence and ease in caring for your child.
